wiener dog races
This event is held on September 21st, 2024
Registration will open May 1st 2024.
Registration will be cut off after the first 100 dogs.
Races start at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Each contestant will receive 2 free tickets into Oktoberfest. The Frankenmuth Oktoberfest is located at 601 Weiss street, Frankenmuth, MI. Anyone planning on attending the wiener dog races there is an $10.00 admission fee, 15 and under is free when accompanied by an adult. No Refunds. Please arrive at 11:00 am for pre registration.
Each contestant receives two admission tickets to the event.
Contest prizes are as follows:

Sponsors: Amazing Engraving in Frankenmuth, Zehnder's Splash Village and the Frankenmuth Motel.
Every participant will receive a Ribbon.
Parade of the Wieners:
Best Dressed Wiener - Trophy
Smallest Wiener - Trophy
Fattest Wiener - Trophy
King and Queen of the Wieners (dressed in traditional German attire)
Race: 12 heats of 12 dogs, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, all get trophies,
1st place will receive overnight stay at Splash Village and $50.00.
